You thought Fox was faux? I just saw the fakest thing I have ever seen on the news. Katie was gracious enough to give us the news flash that 85% of people are not happy with the job being done in DC. Thank you for that news flash Katie. Next, some reporter interviewed people asking if they knew what the tea party was. Of course these people were in a bookstore or library because that is where smart people hang. It was soooo rehearsed and it was embarassing to watch because they tried to make it look spontanious. The first girl had the little glasses on and a scarf and sipping her trendy coffee and basically said all she knew was that they were a right wing organization. The next person said all they knew was that Sarah Palin was tied to them. The last tragically hip library goer said they were a bunch of angry people. I find it amazingly ironic that these obviously academic people who obviously must read a lot seemed pretty clueless about the mood of this country. At the end Katie said, “Thanks for ambushing those people.” Oh yes Katie it was so impromtu. Oh and, Sarah Palin, Sean Hannity and other neo-cons are trying to steal the tea party so they can use it as a vehicle to push their agenda. ---

lol or maybe the Tea Baggers are really just a bunch of right wing fringe jerkoffs that most people don’t bother to pay attention to? It was only about a week ago that I figured out that they’re an actual group of people and not just a term Joe uses to describe the most ill informed and 1984ish of the right wing. Even their name is obnoxious, likening themselves to our founders that fought real suppression. News flash fuck bags: Being in the minority in a republic doesn’t make you oppressed. We all abide by the constitution, not that any of you have read it. ---

dude, have you ever watched fox and friends? gretchen carlson pretends to be dumb as shit to appease soccer moms and simple minded conservative folk everywhere. she was valedictorian of her hs, graduated with honors from stanford (spending some time abroad at oxford, yes oxford like the school in england) but claimed on air that she had to “google what the word czar means” this is just one out of a lengthy list of other examples holy fuck i have a community college education and i know what czar means, for serious? but oh wait, she’s just like you, she’s the every 40something mom just trying to make it with this wacky liberal in the white house! thank god for google! ---

Yeah. I’ll call it now: There will be 8 years of Obama. The republican party doesn’t even know what it stands for anymore. Hopefully by 2016 they remember their fundamentals. Once we are no longer the world’s only superpower it will only be that much harder for a party that is based on rewarding individual merit. Assuming they even still believe in that by then… ---

Mass was a perfect storm. 1.) Shitty campaign by dem candidate 2.) Dems botched the PR war on the health care bill and people believed the lies about it in the absence of a strong rebuttal 3.) They didn’t want it since their state already has universal healthcare. And they like it. 4.) “Vote the bums out!” Shitty economy = vote against the party in power. ---

What do you want him to do to help? Either they block what he tries to do, or spin it to turn the public against him. Fox News either bitches at him for “doing nothing”, or condemns what he does try to do. People want instant gratification AND to block everything on his agenda. How the fuck does that work?
