I stumbled across this site while doing a quick kayak search in the other kayak thread. It’s a great read. [http://www.exchile.com/chrisNiagaraStory.htm](http://www.exchile.com/chrisNiagaraStory.htm) I’ve hiked down there tons of times but would never even consider trying to kayak those rapids. :tup: to completely insane people. ---

I guess there are a lot of people locally who like to kayak the rapids. I think that would take a little bit more no fucks given for me to try it. ---

There are plenty of “safe” spots to swim in the gorge. Just be mindful of how far out you go. ---

I think this could use a little more explanation i think the pic explains it pretty well either a 6foot or 14ish foot rock to jump off of(he’s jumping off the taller rock in the pic), into a pool of water 10 feet from the rapids… its hard to tell from the pic, as i’m 1/2 way up the gorge wall when taking it(from the trail)
