# Key wont come out of ignition (5 speed swap)

i Am doing a 5 speed swap and i cant get my key outta the ignition i have a feeling that it has something to do with the car thinks its in drive and not park maybe?

I try and push the little button in but it doesn’t go in, so i am thinking there is something i still need to remove maybe.

Anybody know?

my car does that if i remove the day time running lights fuse. if you turn the key to off and then turn the day time runners on you might hear a click then trn the key and it might come out.

mine is auto … soon to be 5 speed hehe
