Wow. I’m sort of surprised that a shop would do $16k worth of work without payment, or at least running a credit check. ---

plus one. The way i saw it is that this kid tacked on additional work (unless i missed something) but even still, with the total approaching 16K, and a young kid, EVEN with the car registered to the mother, cover your ass. It had to be under contract right? And if the kid cant produce a recipt, ite gotta be on his head to prove liability right? ---

yea there’s links in that thread to all different forums on people that have gotten scammed 1200 for a laptop, few paintball guns and all the parts he just showed up with, who knows where he got those(turbo and such) ---
