Proposed Rules:
-Must have legitimate plates and registration
-Must have current NYS Inspection
-Must have functional headlights, brake lights,turn signals, etc.
-Must make cruise to Empire, make at least 2 passes, then drive home.
-Must be on any DOT approved tire (any size) Dedicated slicks are for race cars.
-Allowed 1 support vehicle (without trailer) to carry tools, tires, etc.
-Changing tires at track OK
Stopping on the cruise due to overheating =DQ
breakage resulting in having to be trailered home = DQ
Maybe to make it interesting, do a $20 entry fee and split the purse 70/20/10 for 1st 2nd and 3rd place?

If your putting money down make it bracket racing instead!
Have a separate pool for the fastest.

pretty sure my hoosiers have dot on them but i call them slicks. and its how i drive the car around and i was inspected with them on the car. if you guys wanna boot me from it, thats fine. My whole idea is to see who has the street cars not who can make thier car fit a certain class. If you drive yours around on q16 or c16 and make the cruise, its cool with me. drive it, race it, drive it home. Or some tube framed, no wipers, lexan windows… and u complete the day = good with me. ill def bring a couple tools for BS stuff and if i blow up.
I understand where the tire thing is going, thats why i said run what ya brung. and there is no AWD, FWD, RWD classes.
deebo - everything joe said is more than implied with my orig post. and i like the must make two passes.
I got a couple txts worrying about cars breaking and being stuck… I can help this by sending someone to drive my truck and empty trailer incase someone breaks, they are not stuck there, on the side of the road, or calling AAA. Shit it might be me needing a ride home

We have to make the cruise both ways. and in my mind Dan isnt part of the NYspeed crew and should pass that trophy on to someone who is. or lose it at this call out lol. Havent seent that car cruising around in years
Joe is the Ace, but again, when was the last time him or I drove our cars to Empire… They werent what they are today

bracket racing would be cool if ppl don’t use a fucking cavalier. There was truck last night running 13.38 EVERYTIME and his time was 13.35 lol

There has to be some fast cars hiding out that aren’t regular posters on nyspeed. Rochester has a few fast ones, and a couple sick EVOs, maybe they will bring them out. Even JNJ was posting about some sick twin turbo LS build early this year, maybe that car will make it out… 302n20 can up the spray and chop some time, Joelster is fast with his NA car. It should be more fun than anything
I can agree on any tire, as the tire doesn’t really matter that much any more.
