(Some of you may remember me trying to get my computer running, well I decided to scrap it and maybe go with this.) Why are they asking for a phone number when I try to buy one online? I already have a phone and want to keep it. I can’t imagine using this thing as a phone. lol Pros? - cons? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys. ---

All verizon services are associated with phone numbers. Even my FIOS is tied to my ATT cell phone n umber. If you want a big PC for gaming and actually doing stuff on it, you may want to go further than a Netbook. If you just want to be mobile and browse the web, IM, etc, its fine. ---

I am posting from my new netbook that I purchased friday at Verizon. So far so good. I haven’t posted from home in over 2 months.lol It is sweet surfing from anywhere! Sometimes the connections takes a couple tries and it is not always super fast but overall pretty sweet technology Edit: I got das boot while trying to post this the first time.
