Yeah they def helped, thanks man! Is your system similar to this flow path? Im thinking of runnign the black piping inside the pond tho instead of pvc on outside…

Wow, this is awesome. I love water gardens. I built a small one a few years back on kind of on a whim. I will be tearing it out and re-doing it completely very soon. A friend of mine is going to come up with a design with a drawing and/or Photoshop. My artistic skillz are shot.
If you really need to get rid of the dirt, I can arrange that. I need quite a bit of it to fill in some low spots in the yard.
I had lava rock and a drop in type filter in my waterfall with a vorton 5000 (was getting bad algae in the hot summer days). Also, added in bacteria to break down fish waste. Water was always crystal clear and the fish did great.
I used silo cap on a recommendation from a forum and that shit did not last at all. I ended up tearing it all out and buying a good EPDM liner. I think it was like 75 bucks or something.
I am going to try the pond foam to get the water to flow over instead of under stuff this time. Not sure exactly what I want, really. I really wanted a natural look, but I just can’t seem to create that look. Who knows what this new design will bring, but here is some pics of mine. This was just after I fixed the silocap liner disaster:

LMAO u sick fucker. I hate rolling out of bed so early for work everyday, but once im out of bed i love it. I have so much xtra time to do shit. I usually sleep in one day a week. Tues+Thurs i only have school 1230 - 830 so i sleep til like 1030 or 11 one of those days.
Well lets get back On Topic for the pond thread. Are we gonna do werk on this bitch today or what?
