Ilya, I understand, but “resistant” doesnt mean “proof”. I’ve lost things to water damage cuz theyre water resistant NOT water proof. it helps prevent some damage but it cant stop all the damage.  
i really would suggest you trace those peices onto some 1/4inch plexi and cut that out and mount that infront of your fogs. that should do the trick.
