# Lap top brands

I just got some money back from school and i want to get a lap top. I will mostly use it for internet and doing projects for school. Anyone know of any good brands any brands to stay away from and what i should look for in a decent computer. thanks

u dont really need anything too special. what is ur budget though? that will determine what u will be looking for

I like my IBM Thinkpad…because my company gave it to me fo free :woot:

My gf likes her toshiba satellite alot

Apple just updated the Macbook with the Core2duo. It seems like they’re working out the glitches.
