Hey guys, I’m looking to buy a nice laptop. Usage: Wireless web small old games travel take it to school when i go to get my masters Want to spend between 500-800 bucks. Any suggestions? I was looking at the hp dv6920us (799) and the dv6911us (599). Don’t want a huge 17" screen… 14-15.5 would be fine. ---

I have an Acer Travelmate 8100 that you might be interested in. Got me through 4 years of engineering school. Specs are: Pentium M 2.0GHz WSXGA 1680x1050 LCD ATI Radeon X700 GPU with 128MB of graphics memory 1GB DDR2, expandable to 2GB 100GB HDD 8x DVD-R/RW dual layer drive 802.11 A/B/G wireless Second battery, swappable with the DVD drive It’ll have a fresh copy of Windows XP Pro SP2 installed (from Acer restore DVD), along with a full install of Microsoft Office 2007 (disc incuded). Just walk around best buy. THey have dell minis and a range of other laptops that can do what you need from i think like 350 - 800
