It’s never protocol to light a building on fire when a suspect is barricaded inside. The whole “it was an accidental fire with a smoke bomb” story goes out the window when you hear police saying “burn this mother fucker”. Fire was the plan, they executed it. They should have fallen back, surrounded the place, and simply waited him out. You know, what they do on EVERY OTHER situation like this with a single suspect barricaded in a detached dwelling. He wasn’t going anywhere, there was no immediate threat and it’s not like it was a city high rise where he might sneak out the sewer or through some other attached building. It’s a freaking cabin the middle of the woods with helicopters and police all over. They made the decision to “burn this mother fucker”, showing yet again how corrupt the police have been on this entire situation. The last thing the LAPD wanted was a trial where this guy could air all his LAPD dirty laundry.

Keep in mind this was not the LAPD.
When will govt agencies learn that the same monitoring devices they love to use on us can and almost always will be used on them. In fact this was in the middle of no where and they still can’t get away with it. lol
