Haha thank you both. Yeah I figure with the warranty I should be in good shape. This will strictly be a home base laptop. I have a desktop at work, and just prefer the portability convenience of a laptop at home. Plus I’ll continue to use my Compaq for little things as well. So I don’t see why this shouldn’t last 3+ years.

Make sure you make a full backup with the basic stuff on it. All pre-installed crap removed. Youll be going back to the backup a lot due to fast drastic decreases in speed, Acer n all.
