no dead pixels on either, both screens in great shape keyboard and fans cleaned daily with compressed air, screen cleaned almost daily the dell has only been used as a home notebook while the hp has been my school noteboook. the Hp was purchased brand new from future shop and the dell was purchased from Tortech group in Toronto, refurbished. ---

both have dvd/cd drives both have internal wireless 3 usb ports on each hp is 15", dell is 17" (screen) both batteries work perfect and hold good charge, and both come with ac adapters i watch movies at work on both haha! ---
