You were doing all the right things from the get go, and how you conducted yourself here was far better than Evohkilla IMO. I am sure hes a good dude too, just he got pissed and jumped to conclusions I am sure.

either way you are making things better, and like you said, and I totally agree with also, just as easily could have said hit the road jack… but you didnt work worked it out respectfully.
