# law related question

If this is the wrong forum, I’m sorry I didn’t know where to put it so you can move it accordingly.

Anyways, is it illegal to run a fuel cell inside the car as long as it fastened down properly? I’m thinking of putting one right on top of the spare tire hole. Thanks.

I know Conroy was running one in his RX7 and it was street legal and since it was imported, it must have passed an OOP. It would probably say in the highway traffic act tho.

Saw in the HTA? Is that a no it’s not legal for road use? Thanks for the quick reply Dave 😃

I meant to write “say” not “saw” If you are really bored, look thru the HTA. If it doesn’t vaguely mention anything in there you should be ok. I don’t think there are any other acts that would have such jurisdiction.

One person to ask that I know researched the topic would be Andy, “BlueTurboEgg”. He has a cell in his Turbo Nissan NX 2000.

Not sure on the other stipulations though.
