# Leaky Tank

I’m sooo f-in frustrated this past week. i’ve tore the gas tank off my bike atleast once every single day for the past 10 days or so… The is a leak where the fuel pump goes up into the tank. The gasket b/w the fuel pump and the tank seems to be in perfect shape, thus i’ve been reluctant to replace it… i’ve tried all different types of sealers and i can’t get anythign to work!!! when i started, it was just a very small, very slow leak… and if i could even get back to that very slow leak, i’d be happy!!  
i had it fixed once, so i thought… it was fine for a day or so, until i took it out and was doing wheelies, and that busted the leak right back open… i’ve had no luck with it, and when i put it back together this time, i want it to be the last time…

any ideas??

everythign seems smooth, everything seems to seat well… but i can’t get the fuckin thing to seal… i’m gonna take pleasure in blowing it up!

Have you tried to run some RTV around it? Sounds like something is distorted just slightly enough to make it leak like you say.
