That is one of the dumbest thing s I have ever heard/read…
If oyu can afford a 400k plus 1st month taxes etc down payment…plus 24k every month
you can afford to purchase the car…I would like to meet the morAn that leases this thing

Actually, it says a ton about resale value. Chances are, the lease can be priced this high because people cannot get ahold of these cars. Off-lease, the company can probably resell the car for as much or more than they paid for it originally.

Yes. It happens every day. Look at the prices of the F40 for proof. They’re appreciating in value.

well can you realy get a loan for a veyron ?
do veyron dealers ever realy have to use the phrase “let me see if ii can drop your interest rate a point”
this lease is for people who want a veryron, but dont have a $1million + in the bank to buy it outright
just because people are rich enough to make the payment DOESNT mean they have the credit to get a million dollar loan … ask anyone who’s ever worked as a bill collector … defaulting on loans isnt JUST for the middle class

that’s the dumbest fucking thing i’ve ever seen…
23K/mo is fine w/ like $90K due @ signing (tax on 1.4 is a bitch)…but $400K down? You could obviously get a loan…
I think the reason they do that, and have such terms is so they can say “You could even lease the Veyron” and no one will b/c it just doesn’t make sense

If you have $400K in liquid cash sitting around you can certainly get a number of different types of loans to pull together that other $1 million

“certainly” is the flaw here, just because u can scrape together a $400,000 DP doesnt mean you can scrape together $1,400,000
thats like saying becuase you can scrape together a $4,000 downpayment for a cavalier, you automaticly
a)can come up with $14,000 to buy it outright
b) have the credit required to get the loan
nothing is certian …

if you can get approved for the lease, you can get approved for a loan esp if you have $400K sitting around in cash.
