# Let say you have a GT3RS. What bumper sticker would you put on it....

There’s something to be said. The GT3 is a nice car, it just laughably under performs when compared to other cars in it’s price range. And unless you take it to the track, REGULARLY, it’s nothing more than conspicuous consumption.
Slapping a horrendously gaudy wing on it and some “witty” bumper stickers is not doing much to alleviate any such preconceptions.

You’re 100% right on that one, but just because I think the GT3 is an abomination that Porsche should be ashamed of, doesn’t mean that others can’t think differently. But it’s funny to watch the kids with busted up MR2s and 240’s rush to the guy’s aid, calling out accusations of jealousy.

Yeah 1G+ in the corners, 200mph top speed, no biggie sounds pretty slow.

FWIW, I mostly agree with you, Darkstar. They’re definitely not the fastest “supercar” on the planet by any stretch. Still, according to two owners I know, they’re truly a joy to drive when in a situation where you can explore its limits. Unfortunately, I’ve only driven an RS on the street, and while it was fun, I could see it get tiring after a short while. Cage rattles, super-stiff, loud, etc.
Also, FWIW, the owner of this particular one really hates it, and is selling it. The stickers and snows make for a great FU to the purist GT3/GT3RS owners on various other forums. He’s not compensating for a thing…trust me. The guy buys cars like I buy beer. Just looking to see what’s out there, and what’s worth keeping around for a while.
Now, his 993 Turbo S is truly a blast in all respects.

1G? So what? A $35,000 4 door Mitsubishi can do that stock. And 200 mph doesnt mean much if it takes an hour and a half to get there. Actually, it doesn’t mean much at all unless you live in Bonneville or happen to own an old airport.
The GT3 is a riced out, watered down version of the GT2.

Don’t get me wrong, Porsche makes a great vehicle and I hold them to a high standard… and the GT3 falls well below that standard (for the price tag).

As do I, so it tends to get under my skin a bit when they release content-deleted lightweights, and add 20% to the pricetag.
And as far as stickers on the Noble goes, I wouldn’t put it past him.

Noble M12, correct me if I’m wrong. I think they had turbo Ford engines in them, but they are light as hell and would eviscerate a GT3.
