goin to get my exhaust redone, cuz its too cold outside, anyway dunno if i should go with one big pipe or do 2 smaller pipes out the back(kinda like avery’s)

ran bings exhaust for the summer and and into the fall on my s14. After the second ticket, it had to come off. lol. It was good fun while it lasted.
Pic is from the day of picking it up. Can’t find a pic of it on the car at the moment, other laptop is buried in the garage.

Anyone who runs a straight pipe on a daily driver and brags about it will be happy to buy a hearing aid in a decade or so. lol
Another thing, anyone with an SQL sound setup in their car is throwing their invested money away if they change their exhaust to a louder one, and still use the stock sound proofing.
I think there should be a rule, every decibel increased should be compensated by a horsepower. Hahaha, not gonna happen.
Enough preachiness, I’m just frustrated with the loudness of my new exhaust combined with the stiff engine mounts. I am a vagina, there, I said it.

I have a S15 Spec-R OE exhaust on my S14. The piping is mandrel bent and it’s probably a 2.5" exhaust.
Not actually on my car, but that’s the exact exhaust 🙂

is your 240 being winter driven? I wanna hear that thing. J really love the deeper grumble on RB20’s. I find the Hi-Power is a really nice and straight exhaust, but it’s a bit too quiet. I enjoy that pronounced grumble just like I enjoy a V8. Having my car side-by-side with Ronnie’s, Ronnie’s idle overpowered mine. The prounced RB grumble adds soul, and the Hi Power tends to take away from that a bit. This is my own personal experience. It’s part of the reason why I plan on ditching the cat.
