I wear a watch every day (just about) buying a good one then makes some sense. My Tag was a few bucks, but I got it over a decade ago and it still looks good. In that time I probably would have had 4 or 5 “normal” watches, and spend the same.
It’s not for everyone, but to me it’s worth it. I have no problem spending a lot of money on things I use every day.

not one “good” one mentioned? you mean, not one “expensive overpriced” one mentioned.
i think mine actually looks better than most of these “good ones”, and it always tells the time, so it must be “good”, right?? lol
it’s like a car… sure a typical honda is good for daily driving, but a typical vette is good for performance. depends on what you’re trying to do.

Real ballers don’t wear watches. For the truly rich and powerful, their time is their own. Watches are for those who answer to someone else.
If you want a little bling, consider a nice pen. Instead of just saying “I know what time it is” you’re saying, “I sign shit… important shit… alot.”
Plus only the right people notice the pen.

Here is mine, might not be bling, but i love the color and the weight.
It’s made out of Titanium and is very light compared to other watches with the same size.

I was tired of the $99 watches that Fossil, Guess, etc. sell, so I got a Bulova Marine Star for a tad under $300 a few years back, and I’m not happy with it at all. The band and bezel are quite good quality, but it randomly stops working. I need to play with the button on the side to get it going again. Sometimes I’ll need to do this 3 times a day, other times not for months.
When I’ve finally had it with this one I’m going to get something along the lines of a Tag or better…

Unless you are hanging out with very high level executives or old money families all day, no one is going to notice a truly nice pen. I’d be willing to bet that the majority of upper class people wouldnt notice a really nice pen other than that it ‘looked nice’.

Real ballers wear watches with many complications, tourbillions, and carry Vertu cell phones… I did mention Cartier as a “nice watch”(Roadster)
Overpriced?.. buy a tag or a movado today and see what u can sell it for in 6 months lol
