nah you really gotta watch public torrent sites. alot of the new release movies on torrent on them are tracked by these cock suckers. they sit back and make a list of errrebody’s ip that connects to them to dl. peerblock is a program that has a list of the reported known bad ips and will not let your torrent client connect to them. ---

Users of peerblock: I never used it, but based on what i read on their site, it can hinder p2p, and gaming. So did you notice a huge lag or no? ---

I suppose it COULD effect your download speeds, if the torrent you are downloading is hosted mostly by people on the list!!! LOL I don’t know why it would effect gaming at all?? Unless people AS USUAL have shit set up wrong. My router is configured with static IPs for my server and port forwarding on the appropriate ports. Simple network common sense \> complaining on peerblocks website. ---

TWC will send you that for downloading copyrighted material that has been flagged. Don’t download stuff that hasn’t been flagged and you wont have the issue. Ususally torrents are fine, but Limewire, etc. will get you one of those in no time. There’s nothing “quiet” about them doing it. It is in the terms of service when you had your cable installed. Mandated by the federal government. ---
