# License to carry

no I am saying that since MANY people carry that in its own deters ALOT of street crime. Imagine what it would be like if NO ONE could carry and every criminal out there knew they didnt have to fear a weapon that might be hidden on that person.
same as in house. How many more breaks ins do you think there would be if they all knew NO one had a gun.

i really dont think that many more, since most break ins happen when ppl are not in the house. i dont think more ppl would get jumped. i honestly dont. ur sayin for the simple fact that ppl carry its deterring ppl from jumping others?

Yep. If guns were outlawed here (like they are in most Euro-trash nations) the gang bangers could jump any preppy in a polo-shirt, knowing he doesn’t have a gun, since only criminals could have them. Fortunately right now they have the fear that somebody around the area does have a gun.

It’s a neat feeling, I would try it a few times. If we someday have some civil unrest, and it becomes important to have a gun more often than not, you don’t want it to be the first time you’ve carried in public. I like the feeling that I’m used to it, and ready to go anytime, anywhere. Just little things like where to put it in the car, while you drive, when you get out, etc. It’s nice to have those things worked out. I don’t carry all the time, but I’ve carried enough places that I don’t hesitate.

oh i never ever ever want to see guns out lawed, i have one and enjoy the hell out of it, and it is i guess a nice feelign to have it in my house, just incase

I love my Sigs, but H&K will be my next gun. I just like the Sigs because they are all metal, no plastic on them. My one good friend has a HK USP and its a really really nice gun.

That would be a fine choice, may I suggest a HK P2000 sub compact with LEM trigger in .40 cal of course, awesome carry gun, extremely safe and accurate.

^my problem is that i really am in the market for a carry/range gun, so i wanted to stick 9mm… i already have a 40 laying around the hosue… in a perfect world i’d pick up an hk .45 to carry and a 9 to play wtih, but am unsure. do you have a p2000? i like them but like the stylings of the plain usp (i like the plain look)… build quality on all their products is awesome.
anyone going to the gun show next weekend? I"m going to check things out and am going to bite the bullet if the right thing comes along… otherwise i’m ordering new… christmas present for myself ftw.
