# Lighting in my car

when i’m driving on roads without street lights, i like to have my dash as free of distracting light as possible, so i always dim my dash and radio lights at night when i’m driving around niagara county.
my problem is the “hey you have your brights on!” light. i find it distracting when the rest of my car is dark. any ideas on how to make that dim with the rest of the gauges and lights?

throw a small relay in the system
hook the original bulb wires into the “switch” side of the relay, then take a supply & a ground wire off the dimmer switch circuit
this way when the indicator is on, the relay supplies a voltage that matches the rest of the dash lighting
