# lighting question....HELP PLZ

alright my passenger tail light was out, so i replaced it. now when the lights are all off and i step on the brake pedal all the lights turn on. like the four ways the tails the dash the center console lights up…i have no idea what could be causing this and any help would be really appreciated. thanks!

Is this a supra? Did you screw with it? Does removing the bulb put everything else back to normal?

no its in the DD. its a 93 mazda protege
i tried taking the bulb out and putting it back in, but not leaving it out. will try that tonight!

if im understanding your issue… sounds like your brake light wire is crossing w/ your parking light wire…

ok i took the bulb out and hit the brakes, and the only lights that turned on were the tails, so that means the problem lays somewhere in the bulb or the tailight fixture?

its possible that you put the wrong type bulb in there. The new bulb base may be shorting shit out. Make sure no wires are pinched or sliced when the fixture is bolted back in.

Make sure the bulb you replaced is the same as the bulb you took out. If its the wrong bulb weird things like this can happen.
