I was just wiring up my new koukis (which is probably unrelated) and decided to turn on my lights to see if my connections were working. Flipped the light switch to the 1st position, and noticed that NO lights came on: no dash, no cluster, none of the lights outside either. However… my headlights come up and on if put in the 2nd position.

Tried to give a look at the wiring diagram in the FSM but it’s all jargon to me. I did notice that however when I locked my car (via remote), the lights (in and out) would flash like it normally would when I locked/unlocked my car.

WTF is the problem… ?

Edit:
I have headlights, but no runnings incl. cluster and dash lights.

so you were doing taillights

and then you checked to see if your lights worked, and now they suddenly dont, and you think its unrelated?

check the fuses first.

the alarm might have its own circuit for the marker lights

if the fuses are fine, it could be your switch
