dont mind the chrome grill so much as the chrome mirrors. They look like ass after a week. But the AWD is good stuff ---

“Lincoln had planned to offer the MKS with a Yamaha-engineered 4.4-liter V-8, a version of the Yamaha engine used in the Volvo XC90 crossover. That plan was canceled this past summer, although Ford is said to be developing a V-8 for the MKS and other vehicles.” that 4.4 would have been a nice option oh well ---

Zephyr is a neat name, but more befitting of a car to compete with the XLR/SL/SC/XK/etc. Or a Lincoln flagship if it must be a sedan. Hmmmmm…XK rebodied and tweaked to be a Zephyr…idea. Better idea–put in the Volvo I6 and make a cheaper XK/Zephyr. Hm. But it’s transverse mount and would take too much work. ☹ ---

I keep thinking about the contour guys. the engine has the same overall dementions as the 3.0 and 2.5 tech so it MIGHT swap into the contour with some work. and beyond that if the 3.5 is being modified to be a 3.7 then those internals should swap into the fusion, mazda 6, 500, and edge. ---
