# Lionel Trains... 100's of pieces, need some advice

About three years ago I removed literally 100’s of Lionel trains, cars and scene pieces from an attic in a warehouse. I was going to help my father build a layout but we never got into it. So, we have decided to sell them off. Is there any one locally who buys them? Or a good avenue to go about selling them?
Some are in really good shape, close to new. Some were sitting in water for who knows how long and rusted/corroded. Right now, they are individually bubble wrapped in plastic bins. I plan on getting a complete list of car numbers within the next week.

There is a train show this weekend at the Hamburg fairgrounds if it is any help to you. Could be a good place to gather information on your stuff.

Please post up any leads you find. My father has an huge collection from his dad (most still in 99.9% perfect condition) as well as a 10-12 foot track layout.
I remember playing with some of the trains as a kid, good times…
