I can’t stand it when someone gets mad at me for using the word “retard.” When did it become such a negative? If someone is slower, then they are retarded. It means to be slowed down…wtf is the problem?

While I know what you’re getting at… what are YOU (not you specifically) doing with your life? What’s your fight?
Somebody (or sombodys) decided that THIS was their fight. They could have done nothing. Would that be better?
I’m not defending the campaign, just that a lot of people make the same argument as the above, which essentially boils down to:
-You are complaining about someone else complaining
-You are also insinuating that, even though they are trying to do SOMETHING, they should work on a more “worthwhile” cause, while you sit around and do NOTHING.
It’s like being a hypocrite X2.
Again, this is isn’t directed at any one person, and I’m sure I’m guilty of the same, to a degree.
