I have a 94 GSR motor, and I need to get that little black box for under my intake manifold which controls my secondary butterflies. I honestly have no idea where to get one or how much they cost, so can anyone help me there? Also, does it HAVE to be mounted under the intake manifold? Thanks for the help again! ---

You are talking about the canister and not the pcv box on the block, right? If you call the stealership, call Don Davis (691-7800) and talk to Carrie or Joe, let them know you are on the board, they’ll hook you up as best they can. ---

Where is the solenoid? I thought it was just the box, or is the solenoid in the box???.. ---

Don’t know exaclty, its a small black box that goes under my intake manifold and controls the secondary butterflies, or is supposed to at least… anyways I’ll give them a call, thanks. ---

I just called honda and the guy thinks its call the “Fast Idle Control Valve” does that sound like it would be it??? I’m gonna stop in and look at the picture of it today ---

that’s not it. Honda won’t have it because it’s a GSR motor. You would HAVE to talk to Carrie for this, and I think she is only there Tue/Thur nights till 8. ---

there is a solenoid that is part of the canister that does not come with the canister. You will need both call a honda acura salvage yard like HAP recycling or woodfins and they will hook you up.
