# Loans for Land

Need some advice
looking at possibly purchaseing some land
5 acres
but i would like to purchase just the land with a loan/ pay that off then possible build a house on it
is there loans out there for just land?
all i know would be a personal loan and there rates are out of this world…and im looking for a longer term to get a low payment for right now and quickly pay it off

try to do what my father did in Florida. Buy the lot at the best possible price. Try and put as much down as you possibly can.
Use the equity of the land, to aquire another loan to develop a structure on the land.
After its completion sell the land and building for a profit, then buy two plots, and build two more structures, wash rinse and repeat

ahh not looking for that…
looking to purchase the lane lowest rate…theer are loans for just land…

i know that the bank ‘first horizon’ used to do loans for land + house with not much down compared to other banks. FH has pittsburgh offices too, but i don’t know if they still offer that loan program.
