This happened this past Sunday on a local Rochester highway. A friend of my friend was showing him his Evo 9 MR with new mods installed by a local DSM shop. Inexperienced driver showing off in a very fast performance car = dangerous combination. Blasting down the onramp at over 110mph when at the last second the driver determined there was no room to merge onto the highway next to another car then slammed on the brakes, losing control. The rear end came out progressively but the driver remained on the brakes while counter steering. The car left the highway completely sideways, sliced into the ditch then flipped. It went through the water upside down and up the other side, stopped by a small tree backwards. Miraculously no one was hurt and both driver and my friend walked away from this. I’m simply amazed that this doesn’t happen more often. The only reason why this guy is an asshole is because he crashed; I used to see stupid shit like this all the time while going around the ‘the loop’, but luckily noone crashed. ---

man… what a way to spend about 35k in 15 seconds. Would insurance even cover that? obviously he was driving wrecklessly. The only thing worse than a driver screwing around when he shouldn’t be, and wrecking such a beautiful car, is when he’s driving a new one the next week, doing the same thing. ---

Yeah if anyone was in the back, they’d be dead. No doubt. Insurance is still pending which is why Im leaving out all the specifics. But Im sure they will cover it because no tickets were issued, no one was hurt and theres really no proof he was being an idiot. He can play dumb and say he just lost control for \. ---

haha you vulture. I doubt he will. I was thinking about trying to buy it so I could part it out maybe. How much is a 4G63 with MIVEC and only 13k miles worth? 6spd MR tranny too ---
