Go hang out on Camp Avenue at midnight in the summer…you will see some shit you never want to see again. As far as each direction of the city having ghettos, I don’t recall any area in the North(outside of the city) that I would fear for safety walking down the street. As far as camp ave. grab yourself a set of glock 40’s and have at it. ---

talk about over reacting? There are two real problems, west homested PD is a joke and the city of west homestead is pocketing all that tax money instead of puttin it back into the PD and the same can be said for the other half of the waterfront with the Homestead PD. the waterfront is a big enough area to warrent its own police force. The second problem is the ACLU and the NAACP. with those two groups looming over their head i’m sure lowes is scared to address the real problem which is all the youth, the majority of which are black, that hang out and loitter at lowes and make for an otherwise uncomfortable situation for familys and couples looking for nothing else than to watch a movie. Obviously this problem thou had nothing to do with youths. Regardless of where it happend the people that killed that guy were gonna find him whereever he was. He was a target, not a random victim. It was chance that it happend at lowes. Can some tell me again where i need to go for a gun permit, i’m off work tmw and this time i’m serious as fuck about gettin one. People have been gettin stuck up in SQhill and i’ll be damed to let that happen to me. ---

My hubby got his beginning of the year. (maybe he was renewing his but from what he said it’s not that hard to get one…) I live in East Pittsburgh, well Wilkins TWP. It’s not THAT bad, but it’s getting bad. Our neighborhood is pretty nice, BUT the ghetto is closing in on us. Every day…Can’t wait to get out. It’s pretty bad when I start seeing shit like helicopters circling around our neighborhood at 11pm looking for someone that just shot a cop in Braddock and came up our way to try to get away (greensburg pike by Bob’s Lounge and Pennhurst Candy) …I felt just like I was living in Los Angeles again. Saw that shit daily. Don’t want to see it here… ---

of course no one wants to say what they saw… i’m sure next week there will be be a march to stop the violence. hypocrites need to stick up for what they believe in and do the right thing. doing the right thing isn’t “snitchin”. If i see someone get smoked and i tell what happends and i get smoked too…well then it was just my time. tired of this shit. ---

Thanks, don’t care what you all think of my post…unless you agree 😃 I used to work security in the waterfront along with Atreyu and There is a TON of theft and I’ve caught people trying to steal hundreds of dollars worth of shit from Giant Eagle. I am from the north hills and I must say its the best side of the city. Apparently many others think so too because there are soo many houses and businesses going up. For Example the New Target right off of camp hourne road exit on 279 is taking away a ton of our woods. ---

cutty make sure you bring a birth certificate as well as a license, w2 will work too i believe, a soc. security card is not a valid second form of id for the permit to carry concealed… I got mine in about 10 minutes, dudes were real cool, they do the instant background check on the phone, so there’s no wait really, and i believe they use the same resource that say gander mountain uses when they check if you’re able to buy a gun. on the lowe’s thing, my buddy was there with his wife when they were leaving, he went in a took a piss, came out, heard a black guy talkin to his friend say “you got that?” dude was like Yeah, then came the shots, he got bumped into by another guy that was trying to get out of the way, jumped over the guest relations booth and hit the ground, his wife was already outside waiting for him. he ended up having to stick around and talk to the police and a manager was like “i knew this was gonna happen with this movie out”… my buddy said “ya, i bet that guy walked out of the movie, went and got a gun after being influenced by the film and then shot that guy… no way he was gonna shoot anyone before watching a movie” ---
