“Trailer straps are a waste of time”. Still feel that way now asshole? As for the drive being down, it really isn’t. The boat is at about a 25-30 degree angle and the drive looks almost level. That’s probably more than enough to keep the skeg off the pavement. ---

Looks to me like the boat got squirrelly, probably because of wind, countersteered the truck into the pole and from the sudden stop, it launched the boat of the tie straps into the back of the truck. That’s when the outboard dropped. But I guess I could be wrong. Either way, shitty way to end your day. ---

Yea kinda looks real now. That trailer sucks for that boat it only has 2 wheels… shouldnt it be heavier duty for that big boat? maybe thats what made the fail. ---

I’d be willing to bet it’s not his boat. I would also guess he was going pretty good for the boat to come off the trailer and on top of the truck like that. An outrigger setup on a bayliner makes me think dual-use family boat.
