# Looking for a 3.4 for a Grand Am

Hey all,

A guy I work with is in search of a 3.4 for his 99 Grand Am GT. He doesn’t have a computer, so I offered to help with find one with the assistance of the internet. I figured I might be able to find him one that was affordably priced.

Anyone know any good places to look for a 3.4 either from another vehicle, or even an engine that has been rebuilt?

I called Battaglia’s On Chartiers Ave. in the West End. when I was looking to put one in my Beretta. They had them starting at $750 I believe with ~35k miles.

Or you can check eBay or [car-part.com](http://car-part.com), but that site seems to be higher than if you call local yards sometimes.
