Unless it is your absloute first bike, Otherwise I would recommand getting something with fully adjustable suspension; especially in that price range.

Hard to tell with just the year and model alone. More info would help, like title, mileage, is it a beat up stunner? or a well kept one owner bike?

stay away from that 93 CBR and 98 gsxr. Both junk IMO. Even for a first bike. Save up 2500 and pick up a 08+ kawi 250R thats been down but decent and rock out. Solid bikes, super good starter bike and can be sold easily when you want to upgrade. Everyone jumps on the 600cc bandwagon (inc myself 4yrs ago) and usually ends up bad. I wish the 250 looked the way it does now back in 06. I woulda been all over it.
