# looking for a brand new c6?

There were 3 levels of brakes in '06, and the exact same 3 levels in '07.

- “Base” Level. These would be on any non-Z51 and non-Z06 C6. They are identical to C5 brakes (Z06 or not, the C5 Z06s just had different pads and powder coated red calipers) in dimensions.- “Z51” Level. These would be on **ONLY** C6 Z51 cars. They were not optional on non-Z51s and came on **EVER** Z51 car. They featured a slightly larger rotor (diameter and thickness) package that was cross-drilled.- “Z06” Level. These were on **each and every C6 Z06 and only on the C6 Z06.** Not optional on any other C6. They are huge and pretty looking. They suck balls.
