Looking to buy a nice flashlight that is rechargeable and wondering if anyone knows anything about the better ones?A few on ebay I was looking at(not the 1K ones either)but would spend a hundred or two to get would that would last and be very bright.The one said it was good to 1,000 meters.
Any help is appreciated.

It really depends what you need it for. Spotting Deer or to light a room.
High power doesnt mean much if the application is wrong.

How much battery life do you need… i had a spotlight that would only last about 5 minutes constant on, but it was the brightest light i’ve ever shined…

Just want to keep it in my truck.I have a mag lite now but am always saying"man,I wish this was brighter" So just trying to find one.Def. outdoors.
Sherm, that one is great but I see it lasting about 2 months or so and then dead.At least you won’t forget to turn it off twice

if its going to stay in the truck why not check out the spotlights with the d/c cord, they sell them at every hunting store, walmart, etc etc…

Did you ever try the maglite with the LED bulb. I have one of those and its probably 3x as bright as a normal maglite.

if you wont need it for HOURS at a time use, then get a rechargeable one… Im sure the one that i had was low quality, it was 20 bucks and i bought it about 8 years ago… it was sweet

Buy some type of LED flashlight with a plastic casing. Aluminum MAGlites are shit in the cold and they roll away. Shitty, outdated design

these are the military ones that we use… these are by far the BRIGHTEST things ive ever seen. infact, they come with a warning on them that says they can be used as a weapon, due to how bright they are, causing temporary blindness
theyre not joking… i got flashed with one before, couldnt see right for a couple min
