# Looking for a wheel paint, like this

Alwil’s would be the place, or really any place that can mix automotive paint for that matter.

go to NAPA or Keystone and start looking through the paint books. thats what i did for mine

that looks more like splash annodizing than paint

you could always just put a black coat under the red wheel paint to darken it up.

Annodizing yeah, not splach though. Splash anno looks like the old phantoms and stock class guns that look like they were acid washed in anno dye.

I am pretty sure i have seen a color like that at either home depot or Valu, maybe a car parts store. Its a mettalic anodized looking paint. prep it right and clear it and i bet it would come out sweet.

Napa had something like that, I believe it was made by duplicolor

How were the wheels that you posted done? Im not sure the process of that duplicolor fake anodizing but maybe overlaying it over another paint would get the desired effect.

that metal cast paint is your best bet. its translucent so if you put down a silver base coat it will come through the brightest red, do darker colors with black splotches and you’ll match the wheel you pictured.
here is my VC with a silver base. I did another one with a black base and it was a very very dark maroon color:

i’m not sure how he did them… unfortunately, and that picture is from like 4 years ago

It looks like an annodized job. I know that’s not what you’re lookin’ for but most paintball guns are anno’d and they come out just like that.

dark toreador red from advanced. its one of those duplicolor truck and suv color cans. darkest burgundy capped one on the shelf. regular toreador red sucks.
