# Looking for Cable End for Throt. Cable

My throttle cable is too long… It’s got a metal end crushed onto the end. I am trying NOT to cut my cable in case I want to go back to a single carb setup… It would require replacing the cable if I cut it and well… that sir is a pain in the ass. I’m wondering if there is anywhere I can find a piece of metal… maybe a thin piece of tube… or something (But I’m not sure if that’ll crush and hold as well as I need it. . Any suggestions.  
The end of the cable looks like this… I am looking to move the end back a little… any suggestions / ideas where I can get something to do this would be appreciated.
