# Looking for shop that has metric pipe taps

kinda pointless but wondering if anyone knows of a place i can take a power steering rack that has metric pipe threads that need the threads fixed.

there definitely is such a thing. do you know what size pipe thread that it needs tapped to?

there is metric taps. might be easier to go to grainger and buy the taps? think they carry them

There is a tool supply across from Spitz Auto Parts (same building as Corvette World) that I have gotten a few specialty taps from in the past. I can’t remember the name. You can call Corvette World and ask them. They are the same business basically.
