# looking for some willing to let me drive their sr20det swap

hey guys. I am offering $60- cash for a 5-10min test drive. I need someone with a nissan 240 with a s13/s14/ or s15 engine swap. I want to do this so I can decide whether or not I want the swap done on my own car. Just so you know, I am 26 years old, and I’m not going to jeopardize either the car or the passengers in the vehicle. My only interest is to get a feel for the motor. Please give me a call if you are interested. The name is Joe and I can be easily reached at 416-894-8109. I prefer someone in the scarborough area as I live near the beaches on the east end. You will not need to come and pick me up. I can come meet you driving my own car. Also, I would like to avoid driving a car with a large turbo upgrade. Stock turbo would be preferred.

I did something similar to this but just asked for someone to take me for a ride in their car.
And trust me… it is enough for you to make your decision and it was more then enough for me.

I don’t think many people with SRs would like you driving their car. There
are a select few who can drive my car other than me.
If you just want a ride I am sure pretty much anyone with an SR would
be willing to take you for a boot.

i dont think very many people would let you drive their car, but im sure many would be glad to take you for a rip which should be enough to let you make up your mind. i even feel nervous letting my dad drive my sr.

yeah i’d gladly take u for a boot but most people on here have to lie to their insurance company about SR swaps so i doubt you are going to find someone willing to let someone else drive the car.

$60 plus a written contract, and sure I would although I don’t have an SR.
I’ve ridden in a stock SR (just one at the moment - Scott’s). It feels
good, definately a change over a KA. Even riding shotgun I’m sure you
will be convinced. And this doesn’t just have to apply to an SR (could be
any car).
Give the guy the benefit of doubt. He’s 26. He isn’t exactly a kid. Hell,
that should have crossed my mind the last time I let Jantos drive my car.
As much as Jantos is a super duper guy, I regret that day for what he did.
That being said, without turning this thread into another stupid heated
debate, keep the **I don’t think anyone wants you to drive their car**
to yourselves. We’ve heard once, we probablly don’t want to hear again.
And putting a car in the same category as a human-being is just plain
retarded. Some of you probablly treat your car worse then you think. :roll:
