# Looking for SR20 240sx in saratoga

Hey guys,
I am looking for a Nissan 240 racer that has the same setup as me. He put his car together at synapse and not a lot of people have seen him since then. I don’t have a name but know he has a 91 240 grey, if anyone knows him or has any contact info for me hit me back. I wouldn’t minding meeting anyone local with any sr20 swap into there car, considering they are few and far between.

Does he have anything done to it or into the race scene? The reason I ask because I had like three guys that new about nissan’s back where I come from in upstate and down here it is plagues with the honda scene. I’m not trying to hate I just like the guys that think outside the lego box. Is he on this board yet or not?

If he is looking to buy any sick parts I got a hook up in montreal where I get all my stuff I saved atleast a 1000 compared to other places you could buy around the area.

240 with sr20 swap is thinking outside the box???

it is thinking outside the box because I drive my 240 every day and have yet to see even one stock one rolling around. On the other hand if I had a nickle for everytime I saw other JDM models I would be a trillionaire. I look at the 240 build kinda from a different perspective. There are only two kids right now out of all of upstate NY that has a sr type motor in there cars. That sentence right there should define out of the box. In addition to that you don’t even comprehend how hard it is to convert an Japanese motor into a car that is built for American parts. When something breaks, I can’t just go to auto zone and by it’s replacement. I need to think outside the box and either cross reference it or fabercate it.

the cars are kinda rare… so you are not gonna see a lot of them. A sr20 swap is extremely common when modding these cars.

I’ll bet you any sum of money that there are WAY more than just 2 sr swapped 240s in upstate ny.

i thought the same thing when i got my K swap done, i thought there was only going to be a few in the area…come to find out as i go on K20 forums and such that there are tons of them around…just no one drives them, im sure it’s the same way with the 240’s…everyone may have them away or not drive them everyday
and as for the parts comment that the Honda guys can go to autozone and pick up a replacement… :nono nah buddy i don’t know about the other guys with B series or whatever, but i have to go through Acura/Honda or an online source to get replacement parts for my motor…and im sure the other guys with B series and H series cant go to just autozone and get the parts they need
