# Looking for steelies/snows for 2004 GLI

My friend is in need of some winter tires, Tires for the stock 18’s are pricey as shit
if any of you can help him out, get at me!

I dont have a set of winter tires but I have a set of 4 used Fuzion HRI All-seasons I used in winter on my GLI. I also have one brand new on that goes with the set. $145

i got some 16 inch used snow tires withought rims that are hanging around my garage …

I dont think anything smaller then a 17 fits over the rear gli brakes, damn premium models. I miss my GLI

its not the rear brakes that are the problem, its the front 312mm(12.3") that fit no smaller than a 16inch. the rears are just a vented 256mm (10.1)rotors 15s will clear the back.
normal mk4s are 288mm(11.3) and 232mm rear(9.1")
the R32 only fits certain 17inch wheels because of the large dual piston calipers and massive 334mm(13.15") front rotors

Agreed,no smaller then 16
