As of now I would totally recommend this place, but will update when the work is done.
Joel is super solid, he just moved there from Hyperion. His work is top notch, you won’t be disappointed.

Agreed, but Nickel City has had some great artists as well like Cheape.
On a side note, and this may be true about many good tattoo artists, is that my wife had both a sleeve done by Chris at HOD and a bird done by Josh and they both changed a lot about what she wanted. Now I get that they know what they are good at but my wife is an art teacher and with the bird in particular she drew a bird the way she wanted it and they turned it into a classic sparrow and talked her into it. What she drew was completely doable and would have held up fine it just would have taken longer. Wasn’t super stoked about that. They are very very good though. I’m sure when you have a good reputation you hate risking it with something different and challenging but still.
