The STI I just bought has the 07 limited lip wing instead of the stock STI wing… however the springs for the trunk lid are still the ones for the STI wing so the damn thing launches into outer space if I use the truck release. So I am looking to see if anyone might want to trade me for some softer springs. If anyone knows anyone who might be interested, please let me know. Kenny ---

i smashed myself in the face with the carbon trunk on my 06 Si thankfully it didnt crack it it but it put my on my ass with blood shooting out my nose. Try hardware store on central ave I got springs there to fix my carbon trunk issue ---

Truck release, eh? Cant you convert from springs to struts? A low pressure, short stroke lift strut should fix the problem. They have slow release pressures and can be found at your local neighborhood napa 😉 My grand prix had them in the trunk. Go to a junk yard and boost them
