They annonced it on the golf channel as well. He must have really frigged it up bad or he came back too soon.
I had heard it was against his doctors orders that he played in the Open…I dont know if that was at the start of the tournament or after he tweaked it in the final round.

i get tired of seeing every fucking shot he takes and 20 minutes of analysis afterward jammed down my throat, no matter where he is in the field. Every time someone else wins, everyone acts like its only because Tiger let him. Not to mention the amount of sackriding on ESPN and the like. When he was way out of contention at a couple of the majors last year, he still got at least as much coverage as the leaders. I’m a Phil fan, he finished 18th this year thanks to that one hole on Saturday, and I don’t recall seeing a single shot of his on Sunday. Now I can spend the rest of the year not having to root for “Not Tiger” if Phil is out of contention 🙂

Just played 18 holes today up at Beechwood CC up in Canada, thank you very much. Oh, and you used the same line about hockey earlier this year. Buy a new one.
The fact is, from what everything I’ve seen of the guy, which is plenty thanks to the media, hes an amazing golfer, I think hes a major asshole. When he deserves it, fine, show him on TV, but the rest of the time, if hes out of it, give me a fucking break.
Not sure if you’re into football, but would you have liked to see nothing but Patriots games every single Sunday this past season, whether they were good, bad, or ugly, when there were other games being played? Pretty fucking annoying if you’re a Patriots hater. Same shit I go through every time I want to watch golf. He’ll still get more coverage than 90% of the field on crutches the rest of this year.
