Now just finding out that i shouldn’t have my stock LS1 heads ported for safety reasons, i wish i would have bought the cam and then a set of ported LS6 heads off of Patriot, which would have come all ready to bolt on… and they’re very reasonably priced - but… too late for that now… i’m still very happy… should go in on Monday! ---

best of luck with that crappy company. seen to many issues lately with them. the heads of valves breaking off, springs collasping, seals not sealling right. personally i wouldnt buy a patriot product after all ive read and heard. wish you the best of luck with that ---

i see a lot of ppl getting timing chains? do i need a new timing chain? and if so, just a chain, or sprockets too? ---

wtf do you guys find so wrong with the patriot cam? its a custom grind from comp cams like i said (or so says teh Patriot guys - don’t think that’d be a good think for a company to lie about)… and you admitted that you’ve not personally known anyone using the cam… so what’s so bad? ---

Unless u get the comp cams card u truely have no clue what u have. thats why patriot is hated by people now. Also there springs used to be the best bang for the buck but there also using a cheaper company and sayin there springs can handle a higher lift then what they actually can. Now I aint tryin to be a dick but I do read alot of shit on tech and I can tell u alot of bad threads that are on that board that relates to there sponsors gets deleted. So unless u read up like I do ull never really see the bad and if u dont know some of the advertisers on there u wont know the true stories behind certian rumors. i ahve made alot of goods friends on there and alot of them know they can trust me thats why I know more then the average Joe on there. i told u u should have jsut gotten urself a 224 cam. That cam was the best cam for a cam only car or a heads and cam car. I personally will only buy thunder cams or lingerfelter cams. Did u get a comp card or did u get a patriot card? ---

actually i got a Patriot cam card… and that’s the reason i knew the cam was from comp… b/c when i got it, it had the cam card, but there are no markings on the cam at all (i didnt know if there were supposed to be or not) and i emailed asking how i was to be sure that i got the right thing… and i was told that when it is gotten from Comp, it’s put on a thing-a-ma-jiger to make sure its right (dont remember what they said it was called) and then shipped to me… so… they said not to worry, it was right… but… the transaction is complete… i have what i have… if i have the right one, i’m very happy… and i think i’ll know… the 110 LSA should give it away eh? either way, i’m sure it’ll make me happy … and i know what you said, and i REALLY DID appreciate all you guys’ help… i really learned a lot about cams when doing the research on this shit… but i felt like this cam would get me more of what i wanted… so… thats why i wanted it… it had gotten to the point that money didnt matter anymore… i just wanted to do the thing and be done wiht it, not to need fucked with all summer… and hopefully thats what i’ll get ---
