Ive never understood the whole high school hangout thing with the lot. Most of those kids dont give a shit about cars and its just a place for them to act like idiots.
Some of the Mustang guys hang out at Burger King on the corner of route 9 and 146 and dont have issues. Theyve said that cops come thru every now and then but theyre cool with it.
Not really a spot to race there but a spot to hang out.
I dont think theres any PR’s up there although there are quite a few trailer parks so theres the possibility of some white trash being there.

You guys are all the Capital Region locals, I’m sure you can come up with something. It’s the people that make it a good time, not the particular spot, although its nice to be around food, etc

Well for some there is a reason to be close to a certain spot so thats why people tend not to stray too far from there.

Why? You all live ‘close’ to home, for the most part. IDK, I guess driving as much as I do has changed how I look at driving distances vs most people.

Im talking about action on the street. Theres normally one place that goes down and nobody wants to drive a half hour or more to go there, do what needs doing and drive a half hour back.
The lot group generally isnt much for cruising.
The Central avenue area is really central to most people. Close to the northway, i90, Schenectady, Albany, Colonie, Guilderland, etc.

I see 45 minutes as the max to drive somewhere and that is kind of pushing it… 20-25 minutes is the best IMO

theres nowhere at all in Rotterdam to hang out unless you count Walmart on a week night when theres a few older guys there as a sort of cruise-in.
Schenectady isnt much better although the parking garage is a possibility if Benny is working and its close to 890. 😉
