# Lower Ball Joints

Okay, some of you know I am doing my 300 conversion.
To get to the point. I want to change my rear lower ball joints. Easy to do. Hard as hell to find JUST the BALL JOINT. Nissan sells complete control arm for just under 200. I know you can get just the ball joints. Yet apparently, everyone we deal with can’t get them or don’t have a listing.
Someone point me in the right direction puhleeeease

I’m looking for them to and every price I’ve gotten it is just a better deal for the ball joint and lower control arm like part source told me $91 a ball joint

Don’t be tempted by the Megan Racing Front Roll-Center Adjusters cause they dont do jack shit to somewhat correct the roll center the shank would have to be extended not the base like their crap does (completely useless). I dont know… they jacked up their prices, used to be cheaper, but i got my front arms with whiteline bushings and new moog balljoints off of pdm long ago…

I looked for a long time and could only find the new lower control arms from nissan. It is also nice because they have new bushings in them.

Rears…REAR ball joints.
Mike…you are talkin rears right? i need O.E S13 rear ball joints. not z32. i’m keeping 4-lug and cast iron spindle.
i do not _need_ to change the ball joints. but i figured i’m here…mine as well. utmost everything else is new back there.

I am running the S14 front ball joints on the rear of my S14 without any problems. A lot of guys use the B12 Sentra ball joints for the rear of the S13 without any problems. It is just a suggestion.

89 nissan sentra - front lower ball joint work perfect. exactly the same. get spicers
you could almost swear it’s the same ball joint as to S13’s

i just don’t quite understand why NO ONE has a sub listing/cross referenced part number for them! I swear they are exactly the same. Felt like I ordered rear lower ball joints…I even checked the fuckin bill to be sure lol.

i dont think you can buy a separate rear balljoint that’s labeled as an S13 rear
i think they only ever sell it as part and parcel of the whole lower control arm
so no part number to cross ref

Spicer Part Number
SPI 505-1165 Lower Ball Joint
1989 Nissan/Datsun Sentra L4-1597cc 1.6L F/I Vin GA16i
List cost is 32.97
I chose to replace just the ball joints because my bushings are in very good shape. Spicer stuff is the shit too. Way cheaper. Less than half the cost of 1 lca.
Someone sticky this. Or something lol. Put in F.A.Q’s
