Heading down rtXXX heading home from seeing transformers (great move btw) I passed an older guy and his wife in a newer ragtop Roush Stang and proceed to slow down a little to see if he wanted to play. After a few seconds he gets next to my door and I throw him a rev… to which I got no response so I shifted to 5th and kept trucking at 55-60mph.
about a min later, when traffic clears for quite a while, the guy in the mustang decides to hit it… I follow suit and instantly start making up the 2 car lengths he had on me and continued reeling him in until we hit around 80-90 where I was at his bumper. He hit his brakes to start slowing down and I did the same.
We exchanged nods and we went our different ways. I assume that it was just an appearance package Roush because even being a vert, I would of expected a closer race.
